A Day in the Life
Develop and grow strategic relationships with global KOLs to understand and monitor CAS & competitor perceptions, market developments & trends, and opportunities to drive CAS performance. Develops professional partnership strategies, collaborating with KOL physicians, company leadership, and cross-functional teams to enhance customer relationships and support strategic business objectives. Track physician engagement and KOL professional profiles, maintains metrics and KPIs. Lead KOL updates to the Leadership Team (LT) and provide key talking points for LT in planned engagement activities. Leads planning and execution of global podium/presentation plan for existing and new products at congresses and tradeshows. Collaborate with clinical marketing to ensure clinical messaging, content, and portfolio positioning are aligned. Leads KOL and fellows interactions at congresses and other meetings, including sourcing, contracting, and facilitating. Develops, executes, and manages clinician advisory boards. Maintain a comprehensive, dynamic, and ongoing understanding of the disease state, competitive landscape, and market dynamics of the electrophysiology space. Provide active input into the development of NPD and long-range portfolio plan. Execute multiple, simultaneous projects and manage resources to ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and answer business objectives. Manage budget, allocating funds based on brand goals and objectives. Partner with Clinical Marketing, Medical Affairs to provide commercial perspective on publications, scientific communications, and real-world evidence/ HEOR data generation. Partner with Business Analytics and Insights on market research to support HCP branded tactic development, market research, and competitive intelligence. Required Education, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 10 years of Commercial or Medical experience 6+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and/or healthcare industries Minimum 5+ yrs experience in electrophysiology Proven ability to understand the underlying science of disease states and medications, and utilize that knowledge to engage in meaningful conversations with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate within internal and external networks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Operational expertise with a proven ability to lead large, complex projects and ensure timely delivery Track record of success in strategic thinking, driving behavior changes, problem-solving, and decision-making, particularly in ambiguous situations and agile working environments Experience in relationship development and the ability to work effectively both independently and as a cross-functional team leader Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
MBA or master's degree (preferably science focused) Experience in cardiology or electrophysiology Experience with focus on US professional marketing, professional relations and thought leader engagement Willingness/Ability to travel approximately up to 35% domestically. This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan. The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, market conditions, and location. The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
