Criminal Justice Agency

is seeking dedicated professionals to provide pretrial supervision and guidance to individuals referred by the courts. In this vital role, you'll support pretrial defendants by ensuring compliance with court-ordered conditions, connecting them with necessary services, and helping them navigate the legal process with dignity and fairness.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from an accredited college or university or a closely related field of study preferred. Three (3) years of full-time equivalent experience in case management or a closely related experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered for this position. Must possess or obtain VCIN certification within ninety (90) days of employment. Must possess a valid driver's license and must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record based on the City of Hampton's criteria. Must successfully pass testing for alcohol and controlled substances in accordance with the City of Hampton substance abuse policy. Must successfully pass a background check prior to any offer of employment or promotion. Additional Requirements The incumbent may be considered "essential personnel" during City emergency situations or at the direction of the City Manager which may include long hours and unusual schedules.
