Perishable Relief Semi Driver
As a Perishable Relief Semi Driver, you are responsible for the safe and timely delivery and unloading of product being sent to store locations. On average, Perishable Drivers make four to seven stops per day at the Kwik Trip stores and average 1,300 miles per week. They are able to be home at the end of each shift and drive only the best equipment. Our state-of-the art fleet is equipped with electronic logging, satellite communication, and is serviced regularly by our own Truck Maintenance Shop. Benefits: Average Wage $92,000- Based on a 5-day work week running 60 hour clock Sign on Bonus up to $10,000 Quarterly Safe Driving Bonus/ Incentive bonus- Opportunity for $9,400 a year 401K 40% Profit Sharing Bonus 3 weeks paid vacation- first year- total of 4 weeks' vacation after 1 year Paid Sick and Holiday Pay Boot Reimbursement Uniform Allowance Health, Dental, Vision benefits are offered Qualifications: Class A CDL with combination vehicle and air brakes endorsements- ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement Prior Class A commercial driving experience is a plus but not required Good driving record High level of customer service Accurate / detail orientated Willing to learn / perform a variety of job tasks Work well with others Work with minimal supervision Understand / accurately complete invoice paperwork Must be at least 21 years of age Candidate must live within both 60 minutes and 60 miles of their home base in La Crosse, WI. Physical Qualifications: Sit up to 6 hours at a time; stand up to 2 hours at a time; bend/reach/twist/stoop/squat frequently; lift up to 75 pounds to waist level occasionally; lift up to 70 pounds to 60 inches occasionally; lift up to 40 pounds to 72 inches frequently; carry 90 pounds occasionally; push/pull up to 100 pounds of force occasionally; work in a safety conscious environment; work in a variety of temperature and weather conditions. Work Schedule: Perishable Drivers typically work up to 50-60 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
