The Patrol Supervisor will be an essential member of Woodward Park City's Health and Safety team, responsible for supporting daily operations and leading seasonal and year-round patrol staff. Reporting to the Patrol Manager, this full-time, year-round position plays a key role in developing a safety-driven culture across both indoor and outdoor activities. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, hands-on leader with a strong background in emergency care, risk management, and team development. This is a full-time year-round role with a robust benefits package including healthcare, vision, dental, 401K, and an annual bonus program. Key Responsibilities: Support the Patrol Manager in day-to-day operations of the Health & Safety department. Supervise, coach, and mentor patrol staff while fostering a positive, professional, and safety-first culture. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling of seasonal and year-round staff. Lead and participate in emergency response across all activity zones. Lead lift evacuation training and be capable of executing aerial and surface lift evacuations. Conduct and support incident investigations; review incident reports and assist with accurate documentation and reporting. Maintain familiarity with Woodward operations, policies, and risk management strategies. Set a professional example and uphold The Woodward Way in all guest and team interactions. Cross-train in dispatch operations and assist as needed. Operate snowmobiles, UTVs, and other mountain vehicles for emergency response and patrol operations. Collaborate with other departments to support safe programming and events year-round. Qualifications: Current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) certification. CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent. Ski/snowboard and mountain bike proficiency. Comfortable working in outdoor, all-season environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent judgment under pressure and in emergency situations. Valid driver's license and ability to operate snowmobiles and 4x4 vehicles. Availability to work weekends, evenings, holidays. Preferred Experience: Prior experience supervising or managing a patrol or medical response team. Ski and/or Bike Patrol experience. Experience with chairlift evacuation procedures and training. Familiarity with athletic training environments or youth sports programming. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Background in safety/risk management, incident tracking, and OSHA or industry compliance. Four-year college degree preferred. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally. Capable of skiing, biking, walking, and navigating varied terrain. Manual dexterity and physical agility to perform first aid and emergency care. Must have the ability to see, hear, speak, and follow detailed instructions. You make us Woodward.
