Strategic Transformation Manager
Medtronic is seeking a Strategic Transformation Manager to join the Strategy and Transformation Team within the Enterprise Risk & Facilities organization. This team operates at the intersection of business strategy, operations, and enterprise transformation, serving as catalysts for Medtronic's continued evolution in a dynamic environment. In this high-impact role, the manager drives strategic projects with a strong focus on digital, analytics, and process improvement. Responsibilities include translating complex business needs into actionable solutions, managing initiatives from idea to execution, and mentoring project teams to foster collaboration and professional growth. Projects range from leading digital transformation efforts that streamline facilities operations to shaping Medtronic's global footprint in support of evolving business needs. This position offers a unique opportunity to modernize how we work and collaborate with leaders across functions and geographies to enable greater agility and impact. Responsibilities include: Lead and manage end-to-end transformation projects (with an emphasis on technology and analytics), ensuring solutions align with strategic business goals Manage and mentor project teams and staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment Translate business requirements into clear technical processes and deliverables, and help technical teams understand business priorities Develop high-quality executive-level presentations and storytelling that clearly communicate strategic insights, analytics findings, and business recommendations Leverage advanced analytics, automation, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate, Snowflake) to extract actionable insights from complex datasets and inform key decisions Oversee the full lifecycle of data-driven and technology-enabled projects, ensuring measurable business impact Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and digital innovation Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and alignment throughout transformation initiatives Must haves: Bachelor's degree 5+ years of experience managing large scale projects OR Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience Nice to have: Experience leading transformation initiatives with a strong analytics and technology focus, including translating business needs into actionable solutions and effectively communicating insights to diverse audiences Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on expertise working with large, complex data sets and proficiency in analytics and automation platforms (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate, Snowflake, or similar) Self-starter who excels at managing multiple priorities and driving projects to completion in a fast-paced environment Experience driving transformation and analytics initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations. Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) Hands-on experience with advanced analytics, AI/ML tools, data science, and programming (e.g., Python), including building models and implementing innovative solutions Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with a proven ability to present analytics and strategy to executive audiences Mindset of continuous process improvement, innovation, and willingness to challenge the status quo Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
