As the Quality Control Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring field installations meet company standards, project specs, and regulatory requirements across power, telecom, and gas infrastructure work. You'll conduct jobsite inspections, train crews on installation and safety protocols, manage QC documentation, and work closely with both internal teams and external clients to resolve issues quickly and proactively. This role is a crucial part of project closeouts and continuous improvement efforts and is well-suited for someone who thrives in the field and knows how to build trust across teams. Key Responsibilities: Conduct on-site audits to ensure trenchless dry utility installations meet design, safety, and quality standards Lead and mentor a team of 8, including field QC staff and supervisors Develop and maintain detailed QC reports, checklists, and as-built documentation Review drawings and specs to ensure field work aligns with project intent Monitor material and equipment compliance with submittals and industry benchmarks Train foremen and crews on quality standards, best practices, and safety procedures Interface with clients, inspectors, and internal leadership to ensure transparency and quality alignment Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective action plans Support closeout processes and final QC signoffs MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. 5-15 years of relevant experience in dry utility or underground infrastructure Strong field experience in trenchless installation, with working knowledge of power, telecom, or gas systems A hands-on leader who's comfortable managing field staff, conducting site visits, and owning the full quality lifecycle Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to create and improve systems as the company grows Excellent communicator and problem solver with a high level of accountability What's on Offer
