AECOM is looking for a Construction Resident Project Manager to work on Highway Bridge related Construction Management projects in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Plans, directs, and supervises all operations included in moderately sized projects with moderate risk, complexity, and financial impact Manages and leads all technical, financial, and client satisfaction areas using consistent processes and tools Manages subconsultants, including selection, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation Manages projects on a local to regional basis achieving quality outcomes, financial performance and client satisfaction Successfully develops strategy, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, and executes project Acts as primary point of contact with client, maintaining regular communication and addressing concerns promptly Oversees project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables Coordinates with various stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and local communities Implements and maintains safety protocols on construction sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies Conducts regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications Manages project budgets, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting Resolves technical issues and conflicts that arise during project execution Prepares and presents project status reports to senior management and clients Ensures compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations related to highway and bridge construction Mentors and develops junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing project team Qualifications
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Due to the projects associated with this position a US Citizenship is required Highway/Bridge Experience NICET IV or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: Excellent written communications and presentation abilities in internal project settings with the senior management team, external project stakeholders including senior client management leadership Software proficiency in Procore, SharePoint, MS Project Microsoft Office, CEES and EBO software, as well as MURK, Federal Aid policies and procedures and the NYS LPM (formally PLAFAP) Manual Additional Information
