Kubernetes Administrator
Insight Global is seeking a Kubernetes Administrator to join one of our medical device clients. We are seeking an experienced Kubernetes Administrator to design, deploy, and manage on-premises Kubernetes clusters using Nutanix. This role involves overseeing the full cluster lifecycle including upgrades, scaling, high availability, and disaster recovery while automating setup and configuration with tools like kubeadm, Helm, and Ansible. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in configuring RBAC, pod and network security policies, and managing secrets. Responsibilities also include setting up production-grade networking (CNI), storage (CSI), and ingress controllers, as well as leading root cause analysis for performance issues or outages. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, integration of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk, and building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions to support microservices deployment.
