Mid System Administrator
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mid System Administrator to join our team! What You'll Be Doing: Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers. Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency. Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts. Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. What Required Skills You'll Bring: CompTIA Security+ CE (IAT Level II)
Baseline DoD IA certification for system administrators. RHCSA
Core Linux system administration certification. Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards, principles and theories. Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity. Bachelor's (or equivalent) with typically 2+ years of experience, or a Master's with typically 0+ years of experience. Must possess TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly. Strengthens skills in securing Azure identities and resources. CKA
