RECREATION ASSISTANT - CONCESSION STAND EMPLOYEE 4TH STREET PARK/LORIN FARR POOL DEPARTMENT: Public Services DIVISION: Recreation WORK HOURS: Monday - Sunday (Flexible schedule - Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned). RATE OF PAY: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience EMPLOYMENT MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in food service or customer service is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Attention to detail and commitment to quality service. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Must have a Food Handler's Permit. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Greet and assist customers with their orders. Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards. Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concession stand area. Restock supplies and inventory as needed. Follow all health and safety guidelines. Must be able to work nights and day shifts. It is preferred that individuals over the age of 21 have a TIPS (alcohol server) license. WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work may be performed indoors or outdoors with a variety of conditions, including excessive temperatures and inclement weather. Standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time. Occasional lifting, moving, dragging, pushing, and carrying heavy objects; up to fifty (50) pounds unassisted. CRIMINAL HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECK Successful applicant must pass background check.
