The Distribution Management Team within Property & Casualty Information Technology Services is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to work a hybrid schedule out of the Cincinnati office. This Duck Creek Cloud based application is critical to GAI, used for onboarding and appointing licensed agents to legally write business with GAI. This individual will work a hybrid schedule out of our Cincinnati, OH headquarters. This role includes working closely with our current DMS team, various other IT teams, our internal customers - the PDC (Product - Data - Compliance) team and Duck Creek as our DMS vendor. This role requires gaining a thorough knowledge of both the DMS application and PDC Agency Management's business processes. Building strong relationships with these teams is critical. Once fully trained, this person will serve as an additional Subject Matter Expert on the DMS application. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain knowledge on PDC Agency Management business processes and how they use DMS to achieve their goals. Actively participate in regular meetings with Duck Creek and PDC on a variety of items (i.e., status and discussions on existing defects, requested enhancements, product upgrades, GAI specific initiatives). Participate in initiatives to improve how GAI uses DMS to achieve company goals (i.e., cost reduction, improved process efficiency, enhanced reporting/analytics). Participate in maintaining the Rally board, ensuring user stories and defects are prioritized, complete and kept up to date. Monitor application stability and report production issues to Duck Creek immediately, ensuring issues are resolved within required SLAs. Monitor DMS API performance over time, ensuring response times remain within required SLAs. Keep IT teams informed whose applications regularly utilize DMS APIs on any issues. Create/maintain documentation needed by the DMS team. Participate in testing efforts as needed, helping to coordinate across multiple applications within GAI that utilize DMS data on a 24/7 basis. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated technical aptitude Ability to effectively multi-task Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organization skills Ability to build strong customer relationships Qualifications 5 to 7 years of related experience. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business or a related discipline. Experience or basic understanding of APIs and related tools. SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation. General understanding of structured and hierarchical datasets (i.e. JSON, XML, etc.). Experience with REST APIs, a plus. Experience supporting external partners with API issues, a plus. Experience with Rally or other work management tool, a plus. Insurance experience, a plus.
