We are seeking a skilled Taxonomist to maintain and implement taxonomies within our ecosystem. This role is vital to ensuring accurate organization, discoverability, and personalized delivery of information across multiple platforms, enhancing the user experience and content performance. Responsibilities:

Maintain and implement HR taxonomies, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational goals. Develop and expand attributed classification schemes to support effective content organization and retrieval. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including content creators, engineers, and subject matter experts to understand information needs and design taxonomic solutions. Conduct regular audits and quality control of metadata to ensure taxonomy health and optimal content performance. Advise on best practices for metadata creation, taxonomy usage, and information architecture to improve content discoverability and user experience. Contribute to the continuous evolution of the knowledge architecture to support organizational growth and changing information needs. Minimum Qualifications:

Experience with taxonomy governance. Experience with knowledge representation and organization systems such as taxonomies, ontologies, and thesauri. Experience with structured metadata for knowledge management or cataloging. Experience supporting complex taxonomies for effective information delivery. Ability to communicate the importance of metadata for knowledge management and content delivery. Bachelor's Degree in Information Science, Library Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of taxonomy workflows. Familiarity with metadata property schemas. Understanding of SKOS, RDF/s, SPARQL, and other semantic organization or information cataloging standards. Interest in or knowledge of ontologies and knowledge graphs. Experience with benefits, compensation, healthcare, payroll, and related HR topics. Experience working with international partners across different time zones and cultures. Experience in a fast-paced, Big Tech environment.
