Special Education Teacher (EC)
Start Date: August 18, 2025 Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours/week); schedule varies by school Contract Duration: 20252026 School Year Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher provides high-quality services to K12 students with exceptional needs. This role involves planning and implementing individualized programs, including specialized instruction, tutorial support, and collaboration with general education staff. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver instruction aligned with Extended Content Standards Collect and analyze student data to inform instructional planning Collaborate with school teams to support student success Think creatively to meet diverse student needs Minimum Requirements:
Active NC EC Teacher Licensure Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred) Certifications (preferred):
Standard Elementary, Secondary, and Special Teaching Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) Endorsement
