We're looking for a strategic, data-driven Category Manager to lead sourcing and procurement efforts across key direct material categories within our global supply chain. This is a high-impact role where you'll drive long-term sourcing strategies, cost optimization, and supplier performance in alignment with engineering and manufacturing objectives. Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for assigned direct material categories. Lead supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and performance management. Partner closely with engineering, product development, and operations to align category strategy with business needs. Analyze market trends, commodity pricing, and cost structures to identify savings opportunities. Implement cost-reduction initiatives and value engineering efforts while ensuring supply continuity and quality. Drive supplier innovation and continuous improvement. Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Support digitalization and process improvement initiatives across the procurement function. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus). 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management, preferably in direct materials or manufacturing. Strong knowledge of global supply chains, cost modeling, and supplier development. Proven negotiation and contract management skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams, ideally in a matrixed global organization. Proficiency in sourcing tools and ERP systems (SAP preferred). Strategic thinker with excellent communication and analytical skills. What's on Offer
