Patient Registration Representative

It is a full-time role with day and evening shifts, every fourth weekend rotation, and an 8-hour shift length. The position is non-union and requires 40 hours per week. The job summary includes a variety of responsibilities such as greeting and welcoming patients, performing the registration process, collecting co-pays and remaining balances, managing and organizing the patient care lobby, and providing other department support. The position requires 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies, as well as 1 year of basic computer skills. Preferred qualifications include an associate's or vocational degree, 0 to 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office products, 0 to 2 years of customer service, clerical, or other business office environment experience, and 0 to 2 years of medical terminology knowledge. The physical demands include being sedentary, lifting weight up to 10 lbs. occasionally, and negligible weight frequently. The pay range is $19.18 to $26.12 per hour. The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
