Does that sound like you? The opportunity with McKinstry We are adding a Senior HR Business Partner to our growing People team in Seattle, Washington. This is a strategic HR opportunity to work with our growing business. The ideal candidate will consult with business leaders to develop strategic solutions and implement plans to help McKinstry accomplish goals through our people. Responsibilities Strategic Business Partnership Serve as a strategic business advisor to senior leaders on a variety of organizational and leadership matters. Partner closely with other HRBPs, colleagues and leaders within the HR team and each specialty area such as talent acquisition, talent development, HR operations, talent intelligence, compensation, talent management, ensuring alignment of model, approach, strategies, etc. Contribute to, and/or partner on, the execution of, a lifecycle approach to talent management focused on forecasting, staffing, onboarding, compensation, development, performance management, career/succession planning, talent movement, and retentionleveraging workforce analytics and insights as appropriate. Coach business leaders on leadership behaviors and practices to include employee communication, development and performance management strategies and tactics to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development. Provide HR programmatic and policy support, thought partnership, and coaching to all levels of the organization. Organization Design Lead assigned client groups in organizational design activities to streamline and implement new organization structures, roles, and/or processes that align with McKinstry's business strategies. Lead projects focused on talent and business initiatives including manager effectiveness, employee and leadership development, and retention strategies. Employee Relations/Performance Management Provide expertise, consultation, guidance and coaching to managers to address employee behavior and performance concernsto include the development and delivery of appropriate feedback or corrective/disciplinary actions consistent with McKinstry values. Participate in full cycle employee relations investigations in close partnership with the employee relations leadership team, to include gathering and analyzing facts, applying relevant laws, policies, and past practices, and recommending appropriate actions. Interpret and apply understanding of corporate policies and practices, employment law, and other regulations to provide advice, guidance, or clarification for employee relations inquiries. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Partner with the other members on the People and DEI teams in reference to executing DEI plans and ensuring a fair and equitable approach to the full employee life cycle. Contribute to expanding the workforce diversity of assigned client groups and building inclusive leadership practices within those groups. What you need to succeed at McKinstry 8+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources Business Partner or Manager role or related experience. Knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management, federal and state respective employment law as required. Strong HR consulting and business acumen skills. Proven experience leading large projects across multiple HR functional teams. Must have strong critical thinking, growth-mindset, ability to navigate in ambiguity, and grey data, skillset. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information, documents, and records with professionalism and integrity. Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend data-driven solutions. Ability to navigate and thrive in a complex and dynamic organizational environment. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service in response to questions from company leaders and People team colleagues. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
