Post Production Manager

With content creation at the center, we support our clients with strategy, creativity, and the latest digital services. The Post Production Manager position at One Studio manages a team of assistant editors and post production supervisors across all the Trailer Park Group Divisions. This is an in-person position due to the handling of high-security titles. What You Will Do
Create monthly assistant editor calendar and weekend on-call schedule Alert effected producers for any assistant editors out of office requests Create audio and video finishing preps for across all the Trailer Park Group Divisions Spot check some preps from other assistant editors to make sure they are done correctly Meet bi-monthly with post supervisors to discuss upcoming projects and process changes Host bi-monthly training sessions with Assistant Editors and Post supervisors Help the producing team with explanations of on Post Production and Finishing practices along with communicating practices with our studio clients. Attend Producer's weekly meeting and informs the Assistant Editor/Post Supervisor teams along with the Director of Post Production of the upcoming projects and potential finishes Learn and follow Trailer Park's organization of network, SAN storage, and asset management. Learn and follow Trailer Park's security requirements and procedures. Who You Are
5+ years of assistant editor / finishing experience preferably within a theatrical marketing environment. Extensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere. Avid Media Composer is a plus but not required. Understanding of network storage (NAS). Understanding of frame rates, timecode, aspect ratios, resolutions, video scanning (interlaced vs progressive), and color spaces Basic knowledge of audio programs a plus (Pro Tools, Adobe Audition). Expert experience with video conversion tools (Quicktime Pro, MPEG Streamclip, Content Agent, DaVinci Resolve) and basic understanding of the .mov and .mp4 wrappers Proficiency with After Effects Knowledge of Microsoft Suite Office Suite especially Word and Excel as well as delivery types (Aspera Faspex, Frame I/O, Wiredrive, and Media Shuttle) Airtable knowledge is a plus but not required. Ability to trouble shoot and solve problems with the discernment to know when to ask for help. Ability to work independently, possessing good communication skills and the ability to prioritize, multitask, managing upward and downward. Willingness and ability to work long hours with little notice. Willingness to a few weekends out of the year. Great work is only possible with great people.
