This position will require flexibility and will rotate to cover all shifts.

SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Assistant will be responsible for the execution of quality assurance activities directed by the Quality Assurance Manager. Major activities include, but are not limited to: Issue and manage change control and investigation numbers .

Coordinate all required tasks associated with document retention including document obsolescence. Oversee the filing and archival of documents as well as the control of storage areas for documentation as defined in the document retention procedure.

Provide quality support to manufacturing for the following:

All purified water testing, data collection and reporting for communication to cross functional partners and filing of reports All raw material release activities including LAR verification and issuance of approval labels Oversight of controlled notebooks, batch record data consolidation to spreadsheets Collect relevant metrics data for annual review, board meetings, department updates SOP updates, Change Control review and coordinating approval

Batch Record Control/Coordination

Create Lot number and batch record Manage and create all labels for production Conduct finished batch record review Compile batch data and issue CoA Scan completed record to computer and file

Conduct Finished Product Inspection and documentation for lot release

Verify Final Inspection Form and labels Inspect shipment for completeness and attach labels Complete Final Inspection Form

All activities will be conducted in a manner which ensures compliance with the requirements of the Specialty & Fine Chemical industries, under ISO9001: 2015.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate degree in Chemistry or similar science related area is preferred. Two plus years experience required. Will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
