$19.00/ hr. + $1.50 shift differential

2:15pm-12:45am, Monday – Thursday

Production Supervisor
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the daily processing and movement of products through the factory
Responsibilities and expectations:
Safely operate forklift for routine established work, lifting and moving 510,000 lbs. Must be licensed Always follow the safe operation of all equipment Perform assigned work in a timely manner Capable of making routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic banding and packaging issues or seek assistance from a supervisor Report and correctly document Bill of Lading, incoming steel, outgoing finished products and safely and properly load and unload trucks Perform equipment preventative maintenance checks daily on equipment and turn in reports promptly Teamwork and communication between shifts are mandatory Package parts according to Company’s standardized banding procedures Band bundles per Company’s standardized banding procedures to meet customer requirements Each shift is responsible for properly banding and packaging finish bundles according to Company’s standardized banding procedures. Supervisors and Quality will address packaging discrepancies should the need arise, only supervisors or quality Qualifications:
Basic knowledge and understanding of material handling including all safety guidelines Demonstrate competency in basic math shop Ability to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidance Flexible and responsive with strong teamwork orientation Good verbal and written communication skills Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement Physical Requirements:
Sit, stand and walk for 110 hours a day Lift, carry, push and or pull 150 lbs frequently Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach outward frequently Ability to work in a 6588-degree Fahrenheit work environment while wearing hearing protection, vision protection, hand protection, steeltoed shoes and other appropriate protective clothing #zr
