Production & International Shipping Coordinator Location:
Alpharetta, GA
U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders Only – Sponsorship Not Available About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on professional to oversee daily shift operations while managing all aspects of international shipping and documentation. This role requires a strong focus on safety, production efficiency, and global logistics coordination. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day shift operations with a strong emphasis on
safety ,
quality ,
on-time delivery , and
cost control . Serve as the
first point of contact
for operators regarding mechanical failures or production issues. Monitor and input
key production data
to track KPIs related to efficiency, downtime, inventory, and output. Coordinate with other departments to ensure production goals are achieved in a timely and cost-effective manner. Support
continuous improvement initiatives
and enforce plant control procedures; recommend improvements to the Plant Superintendent. Prepare
freight quotes
and
Proforma invoices
for customer orders. Manage and maintain all
shipping and export documentation
for international orders, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate
customer profiles , documentation SOPs, and task-specific instructions for international clients. Liaise with the
sales and customer service teams
to ensure accurate and timely order processing and issue resolution. Provide general support to the
SRI operations team
as needed. Ensure adherence to
company policies , safety standards, and regulatory compliance (including international shipping laws).
Requirements U.S. citizenship or green card holder
status required (no visa sponsorship available). Experience with international shipping , including knowledge of
customs regulations
and
export documentation . Proficiency in FedEx shipping software
and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. DOT/DG certification
preferred.
