The role involves broad expertise, independence in decision-making, and leadership in technical strategy and solution design. Key Responsibilities Collaborate across IT teams to promote adoption of revenue-generating, cloud-based systems; ensure high user satisfaction. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectures. Develop domain-based and technical architecture strategies aligned with business needs. Set long-term direction, standards, and roadmaps for solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture. Design and lead migration and refactoring of applications. Help develop and maintain the Feature/Product Roadmap with Product Management and Application Delivery teams. Competencies Develop work plans, set goals, and ensure secure-by-design architecture. Communicate effectively to all organizational levels, including executives. Drive innovation, manage costs, and ensure compliance with policies and security standards. Lead or direct projects, review personnel, and foster continuous improvement. Other Requirements Minimum 7 years of leadership in software development; 5+ years in insurance preferred. Experience with domain and technical architecture, cloud migration, modernization, DevSecOps, micro-services, and enterprise architecture tools. Strong security, project management, and communication skills. Knowledge of software development lifecycle, CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Insurance industry experience is a plus.
