Conflicts Analyst/Attorney in our Intake Team, based in one of our multiple offices, on a hybrid basis. Reports to the Conflicts Manager. Role Overview:
The Conflicts Analyst/Attorney works closely with attorneys and the Conflict & Intake department to review new business, identify potential conflicts, and resolve issues in compliance with firm policies. Key Responsibilities: Analyze legal conflicts, ethical rules, and current developments to evaluate conflicts checks, identify issues such as GC business, pending laterals, or significant clients, and notify attorneys accordingly. Communicate with lateral attorney candidates to gather complete client and related party information, distinguishing portable from non-portable business. Manage the conflicts review process and resolve conflicts per GT policies. Conduct data analysis and research using electronic databases. Document processes, maintain records, and communicate potential conflicts clearly to attorneys. Escalate issues like non-responsiveness or unresolved conflicts to the appropriate attorney. Assist with other department activities as needed. Qualifications & Skills: High-quality client service, proactive problem-solving, and good judgment. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective time management. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively. Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate initiative and independence. Education & Experience: JD or advanced graduate degree preferred. At least 4 years of legal research, paralegal, or related experience, or in an analytical business role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite. Additional Details:
