Description
In this role, you will help build and maintain cross-platform test automation framework(s) using Swift and XCUITest to test Apple Search across multiple apps. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated tests, triaging test results, and developing tools to monitor both test and product health. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to identify and resolve issues related to testing and overall product quality. Additionally, you will leverage large language models (LLMs) to automate test generation, improve coverage, and enhance the scalability and resilience of the testing infrastructure. Minimum Qualifications
Experience in Swift/XCTest/XCUITest Experience testing mobile frameworks and/or applications Experience developing automated software tests Experience developing test plans, test cases, assessing risk, and filing appropriate defects Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies & practices Preferred Qualifications
Ability to thrive in a collaborative working environment within your team and beyond Ability to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose resolutions Experience using LLMs to build or enhance software testing frameworks, focusing on generating effective, robust, and diverse test cases At Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation package, determined within a range based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100. Employees also have opportunities for stock programs, benefits including medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, discounts, educational reimbursement, and potential bonuses or relocation support.
