Locum Tenens Pediatrician Position Type: Specialty: Physician - Pediatrics Location: Michigan Rate: Open & Negotiable Shift: 24-hour call shifts (7:30 AM 7:30 AM) Start Date: November 26, 2025 End Date: January 2, 2026 Position Details: Patient Population: Newborns Setting: Level I Nursery; clinic located adjacent to hospital Responsibilities: 24-hour call coverage for routine newborn nursery care Required Procedures: Routine newborn exams EMR System: Cerner Support Staff: Clinic with 6 exam rooms Days Per Month: 10 total (Nov. and Dec. 24 Jan. 2) On-Call/Weekends: Yes Submission Requirements:
* Board Certified in Pediatrics or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency Required * Clean malpractice and disciplinary history Required * Active Michigan medical license Required at time of submission * NRP & BLS certifications Required * Must be local (drive-in only, no flights) Required * Participation in MI Medicaid/CHAMPS Required * Submit dates of availability Required at time of name clear
