Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully. * Must be willing to work both day and night shifts * Must have a clean file * Submission must be uploaded as one file including CV, submission cover, active license, and board certification * If ABEM, must include current ACLS and 1X proof of ATLS * Annual ED volume: 42,000 * Level II Trauma Center * 38 ED beds * 8 fast track beds * 48 hours physician coverage (10-hour shifts) * 20 hours APP coverage (10-hour shifts) * EMR: Cerner * 40 hours daily scribe coverage * Subspecialty coverage includes Cardiology, Imaging, Gastroenterology, OBGYN, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, Urology, Stroke Center, Neuro, Cardiac Rehab * Active TX license required * DEA with TX address required * Board certified or board eligible in ABEM or osteopathic equivalents * Must be residency trained in the certified specialty * ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required * If ABEM, current ACLS and 1X proof of ATLS required * CME from past 2 years required * Case logs from past 2 years required * Copies of all education and training diplomas required * SS card required * Driver's license required * Color photo required * TB, Flu, Hep B, MMR, and Varicella immunization records required * 8 hours of Stroke CME and 8 hours of Trauma CME required annually * Must complete in-person EMR training prior to first shift (training not contingent on privileges) * Facility: The Hospitals of Providence East Campus * Full-service 182-bed hospital * 6 neonatal ICU beds * 24 intensive care unit beds * 38-bed emergency department * 8 fast track beds * Services include back and spine, cancer, children's services, diagnostics, emergency services, heart care, imaging, lab services, mother and baby, orthopedics, rehab, respiratory, urology, women's health, wound care, and outpatient vascular access * Location: El Paso, TX * Safe and beautiful neighborhoods * Vibrant regional economy * Strong recreational, cultural, and educational opportunities * Less than 5 hours west of Odessa, TX * 4 hours south of Albuquerque, NM
