The position offers a flexible schedule with coverage requirements ranging from days to nights, providing a comprehensive experience in managing critical care. Key Details
* Assignment Type: Locum Tenens * Setting: Hospital (Inpatient) * Start Date: 7/27 (7 AM) - 8/4 (7 AM), with additional dates 9/15 - 9/16 * Schedule: Varied shifts including 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (in-house) and overnight call * Patient Population: Adult * Location: Sioux City, IA Stipends available: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive care in the intensive care unit * Oversee and supervise Advanced Practice Providers (minimal oversight needed) * Manage an average of 13 ICU patients per day * Utilize the Cerner EMR system for patient documentation
Qualifications
* Board Certified in Pulmonary Critical Care * Active IA License or Active IMLC (LOQ in hand) * Certifications in ACLS, DEA, CSR * COVID-19 vaccination required
Working Hours
* Varied shifts including 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (in-house) * On-call responsibilities from 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Skills
* Strong critical care and pulmonary management skills * Ability to work independently and within a team * Excellent communication and coordination abilities
