* Start Date: ASAP * Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire) * Schedule: Monday - Friday * Hours: 8a - 5p * EMR: ECW * Patient Population: All ages - outpatient
Responsibilities:
The Podiatrist will:
* Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive podiatric care encompassing the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various foot and ankle conditions. * Clinical Procedures: Execute in-office procedures, including wound care, nail and skin surgeries, and orthotic fittings with precision. * Chronic Disease Management: Oversee the podiatric facets of chronic conditions such as diabetes, ensuring preventive care and addressing complications. * Patient Education: Provide thorough education to patients and their families regarding foot care, preventive strategies, and treatment protocols.
Qualifications:
* Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution. * Valid and unrestricted podiatric medical license in the state of California. * Board certified or board eligible in podiatric medicine and surgery. * A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
