TITLE: Information Security Manager

LOCATION: Everett, WA

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid - 4 days onsite

REPORTS TO: Sr. Director, IT Infrastructure

Role Purpose

The Information Security Manager will play a critical role to ensure has a safe and secure environment for its employees, partners and customers. This is a functional role that will be responsible for all operations related to Information Security. The candidate will be able interact with employees at all levels, this will include senior leadership, partners, and potentially customers. This candidate will help optimize the existing tooling related to InfoSec monitoring and alerting, including scanning/analysis tooling. This role will need to perform internal and external risk assessments on a regular basis. Candidate will be able to own the Incident Response process for handling all critical incidents, leading the team to resolution and communicating to leadership

The candidate will own all aspects of tools and procedures for our team to monitor the security posture of the company for internal and external risks to our systems, networks, and data. As part of these efforts, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security solutions in concert with various teams. This position is key in implementing and managing all the ongoing information security risk management efforts and programs for Funko, including incident response and security operations.

What You'll Do: Provide strategic direction and oversight for all information security operations, including risk management, incident response, and compliance. Lead the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of security technologies (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanning, endpoint protection). Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Oversee the design and execution of internal and external risk assessments and audits. Own the incident response lifecycle, including preparation, detection, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis. Collaborate with IT, legal, HR, and business units to ensure security is embedded across all functions. Ensure timely communication of security incidents and risks to executive leadership. Monitor and manage security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, proxies, and log aggregation systems. Drive continuous improvement through automation, process refinement, and proactive threat intelligence. Lead and mentor a team of security professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. What You'll Bring:

8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with 5 years of experience as a security administrator, engineer, manager or analyst in an enterprise environment preferred 2 years of experience leading the Information Security function for at least a mid-level organization Proven track record of building consensus and leading cross-functional teams to deliver secure systems and propagate a culture of security Implementation experience with SIEM and PAM systems Knowledge of the operating characteristics of various systems, Windows, Linux and MacOS Practical experience providing security services and planning for E-Commerce environments Significant knowledge of Public/Private Cloud infrastructure platforms including AWS and Azure, as well as vertical cloud providers Experience with authentication protocols like LDAP, RADIUS, SSO, ADFS and MFA Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, authentication systems, log management, SIEM, content filtering, etc. Strong Windows Server and Active Directory experience Knowledge of physical and logical network devices and infrastructure to include switches, routers, firewalls, etc. Experience with networking technologies (Switches, Firewalls, WAPs, Network Probes etc.) SolarWinds Orion and/or similar network monitoring tools Understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure BS degree in Computer Science, MIS or practical work experience

SALARY INFORMATION:

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $121,500 - 165,000 annually.Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
