Database Administrator Opportunity

Develops, implements, and oversees database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and accompanying software. Designs interfaces with third-party systems using various scripting languages. Maintains existing database(s) that support the user environments, such as testing and production. Ensures data remains consistent across the database, data is clearly defined, and users can access data concurrently and in a form that suits their needs. Responsibilities
Develops database architectures, coding, and quality assurance policies and procedures for primary databases. Designs, plans, and coordinates interfaces for third-party system integration using scripting languages. Installs, configures, and maintains network components to ensure database access. Monitors, optimizes, and allocates physical data storage for database systems. Reviews and implements new system releases and upgrades. Designs and implements systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving. Performs file system configuration and management. Responds to and resolves database access and performance issues. Monitors database system details. Windows Server OS administration. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline. Preferred 4-6 years of working as a Database Administrator. Required 4-6 years of working with database structures, theories, principles, and practices. Required 4-6 years of designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining database servers. Required Ability to administer Oracle database on Windows OS for Oracle 19c (including PL/SQL and SQL development). (Required proficiency) Ability to assess and develop long-term strategic goals for production databases. (Required proficiency) Ability to conduct research into database issues, standards, and products. (Required proficiency) Ability to develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases. (Required proficiency) Ability to provide guidance to programmers and other associates. (Required proficiency) Knowledge of ORDS+APEX development. (Required proficiency) Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, DOS, Perl). (Required proficiency) Basic knowledge of Postman environment. (Preferred proficiency)
