This initiative offers the opportunity to oversee data architecture, AI enablement including integrating AI into existing systems and assessing business benefits. Shape critical decisions in SAP RISE implementation while partnering with teams in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and SAP EAM, FI, and SCM technologies team to transform operations and reduce carbon emissionsResponsibilitiesDefines architecture blueprint for end-to-end systems including integration of applications systems, platforms and technical infrastructure at the portfolio and solutions architecture levels. Carries out the intake scoping of solution concepts and initial cost estimation system architecture definition at the logical levelProactively seeks solutions and deploys recommendations to resolve architectural problems related to any IT domain, including Business, Apps, Data, Security, Server, Networks or StorageAligns with Business and Systems Analysts to understand the business requirements and create the corresponding blueprint for implementing various technology components of a new systemLeads to the solution strategy and architecture including identification of core components necessary to meet functional requirements and desired systems characteristicsTies architectural vision together across portfolios and major business initiatives programsManages the design and documentation of solutions within standards defined by the enterprise architecture teamCoordinates closely with solution engineering development teams and vendors to ensure that a coherent and consistent approach to implementation of the specified solution architecture is achievedAnalyzes the technology domains and develops market assessments and roadmaps to inform and evolve strategic executionEnsures all solutions adhere to enterprise IT principles and utility industry standards and regulationsA material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.Minimum QualificationsTen or more years of designing and developing IT architecture.\u00a0Preferred QualificationsBachelor\u2019s degree or higher in Information Science Technology, Computer Science or engineering.Five or more years of experience with SAP S4 HANA, FIORI, BWHANA,Two or more years of experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Business Technology Platform (BTP) architecture and servicesTwo or more years of experience using AI tools for development and design patterns including use of LLMs, RAG and MCPFive or more years of experience with electric utility business processes and Operational Technologies (OT) with emphasis on Transmission and Distribution EngineeringExperience working in projects utilizing agile development and DevOpsKnowledge of TOGAF or other Enterprise Architecture Standards or FrameworksStrong understanding of SAP Clean Core, cloud-first strategies, and SAP Build portfolio.Experience and proficiency in platforms such as SAP Joule, Copilot, Amazon Bedrock, and Azure AI.Experience with systems utilizing high volume and complex data processing, database platform selection and optimization, metadata management suites and OLAP or similar technologiesStrong understanding of SAP Finance, Assessment Management, Plant Maintenance or Materials Management.\u00a0\u00a0Additional Information\u00a0This position\u2019s work mode is\u00a0hybrid.\u00a0The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.
