The growing Madison, AL-based small business is seeking innovative individuals who want to join an up tempo, maker culture that proudly provides products and services to support the American Warfighter!POSITION SUMMARYThe Production Planner / Scheduler has primary responsibility for releasing and distributing production orders, maintaining schedule status, and supporting production and engineering with manufacturing bill of material status. The Production Planner / Scheduler will work daily with production, engineering, procurement, and suppliers to ensure and communicate smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCEExperience working with an MRP system.Experience with inventory management and control of products and records.Experience with configuration management system.Attention to detail, the ability to follow through and a high level of customer service skill.Good communication skills (written and verbal).Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and implement change.Experience and comprehension of personal computer applications such as Microsoft Excel/Word.2 years of planning/scheduling experience preferred.EDUCATIONAssociate degree or higher required.
