Job Description: Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring an Sr. Project Manager for an onsite, full-time position in Los Angeles, CA with 025% travel to job sites. The role requires managing HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas system installations on large commercial and healthcare projects. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with 5-10 years of project management experience working with a mechanical subcontractor on high-value construction projects Key Responsibilities: Project Installation Management:
Lead HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas system installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, budgets, and deadlines. Healthcare Facility Compliance:
Maintain expertise in safety protocols and infection control for occupied healthcare environments. Job Costing & Budgeting:
Set up job costing, review estimates, and ensure budget alignment. Vendor & Subcontractor Management:
Negotiate and execute purchase orders, reviewing submittals for accuracy. Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Generate monthly cost reviews, proactively identifying deviations and keeping stakeholders informed. Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and internal stakeholders. Team Development:
Oversee and mentor field personnel, including workers, foremen, and superintendents. Safety & Compliance:
Conduct safety meetings, incident investigations, and other activities to maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree
in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered. 10+ years of project management experience
with a mechanical subcontractor in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Proven experience managing hospital/healthcare projects
valued at
$15M - $25M
in the commercial sector. Strong communication and leadership skills
with attention to detail. Experience with industry trends and competitive practices. Travel:
