Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

to join our team in

DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area . Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support the enterprise architecture, design, development, and deployment of network and cloud services in support of government customer

Research and implement enterprise-wide network and cloud solutions, capabilities, and enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives, while complying with the network architecture and design standards

Produce SDLC project artifacts such as requirements, design documents, diagrams, and other required documentation; employ DevSecOps working with other functional areas, stakeholders, and vendors to design, develop, and implement sustainable solutions

Coordinate system maintenance, monitoring, and installation of multiple WAN/LAN environments encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies

Develop and maintain a roadmap for capabilities, operations, and technologies

Evaluate and recommend changes and/or technology upgrades to address performance, standardization, and industry best practices

Perform site installations, technology refresh, develop implementation plans and schedules; follow all customer network security processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with government policies

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.

10+ years experience trouble-shooting, designing, deploying, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide cloud-based and hybrid cloud-based solutions.

Previous Network Operations Center (NOC) or IT Operations experience

Hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, and firewall technology

Experience with primary network topologies, LANs, WANs and other common network standards; strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and QoS, MPLS; Very strong knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, GRE, IPSEC, and VRF)

Technical certifications such as Cloud, CCNA, CCNP, Virtualization, monitoring and troubleshooting tools

IAM III/IAT III Certified

Preferred Qualifications: One of the following certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Data Management Pr5ofessional (CDMP), Six Sigma Certification, ITIL4

Understanding of ITIL4 principles

Clearance Requirements: Must have a current/active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.

The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD suitability is required prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
