Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and current BLS and ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS, RCCS) certification for an acute care hospital assignment.
Responsibilities Position is in an acute care hospital settingWork in the Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer unitManage a daily caseload of 8-12 cases per technicianSchedule options include Monday-Friday 4x10 hour shifts (6a-4:30p) or 3x12 hour shifts (6a-6:30p)Weekend call rotation required: Noon Sunday to 7am Monday and weekend shifts Saturday and Sunday from 8am to NoonNo floating between service lines or to sister facilitiesEMR is Epic; experience preferredRadiation badge must be providedMust be willing to assist with training and onboarding of new staffScrub color: Navy or Seal BlueModules must be completed pre-start as part of onboarding processReturning employees must have a 1-year separation before being eligibleAll requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to assignment approvalDuring hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teamsFree parking available on-site
