Day.Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI is seeking a Nursing Manager with Med Surg to join our team!The Nurse Manager is an operational Leader that supports Nurses on respective unit(s). The Nurse Manger is a Registered Nurse that understands and supports the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The Nurse Manager works under the direction of a Nursing Director. This role supports bedside staff directly with majority time spent on the unit.HOURS: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours per pay period, day shift. Experience/QualificationsKnowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a nursing program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.Maintains education and specialty certification requirements specific to the department scope of service.Previous experience beneficial.Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license.Maintains specialty certification as per department scope of service.Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
