We are seeking an experienced and committed Clinical Program Manager to join our dynamic and innovative organization. The position provides clinical supervision of Mental Health Therapists within Project Harmony's Children's Services Department.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision for mental health staff, monitoring the delivery of services to ensure model fidelity and quality of care and conducting performance reviewsAssist the Director of Mental Health Services with hiring mental health staffSupport mental health staff in achieving expected direct hour outputs and mental health outcome results and promote professional developmentOversee psychiatric fellows' program and mental health internships, assisting with program development and implementation for a quality internship experienceComplete diagnostic assessments and mental status exams for clients being served by Provisionally License Mental Health Practitioners (PLMHP) under supervisionIdentify new programs to address service gaps for populations served by Project Harmony. Assist Director of Mental Health Services with development of new programs. (This will include a community and/or home-based mental health services program specifically targeted for missing youth and youth at risk of trafficking)Assist Director of Mental Health Services with the implementation and expansion of evidence based therapeutic groupsSelect, monitor, and evaluate evidence-based screening and assessment tools and treatment models appropriate to Project Harmony client needsServe as a resource for Children's Services staff and investigate partners in identifying and resolving child and family behavioral and mental health concernsAssist with the development of policies and procedures related to the delivery of clinical servicesEnsure culturally competent services are provided to all families served by Project Harmony without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, socioeconomic status, disability, gender, or sexual orientationEnsure compliance with NCA Standards of Accreditation for Mental HealthMonitor Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) requirements and develop areas in need of improvementWork with research/data team to monitor utilization, costs, evaluate services and outcomes; prepare monthly reportsDeliver presentations on evidence-based practices locally, regionally, and nationallyRegularly connect with other urban mental health clinicians to explore best practices within the CAC environment and initiate local program improvements accordinglyMay provide direct services to children and families as needed. Some services may be community and/or home based specifically for missing youth and youth at risk of traffickingMay provide school-based mental health services as neededOther duties as assigned by Director of Mental Health ServicesRequirementsQualifications EducationMaster's degree in social work or related field requiredLicensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) in Nebraska requiredLicensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in Nebraska preferredExperience and Training3+ years of experience as a mental health clinician2+ years of experience providing clinical supervision to clinicians and/or master's level internsExperience conducting assessments and providing mental health treatment to children and familiesExperience selecting, evaluating, and implementing therapeutic group modelsKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesExcellent clinical supervision skillsKnowledge of evidence-based mental health and prevention modelsStrong crisis management skillsMust be a self-starter and able to work independently as well as part of a teamExcellent active listening, verbal, and written communication skillsStrong knowledge and use of all Microsoft Word, Access, and OutlookHigh level of initiative and energyAbility to be flexible and adjust to stressful and ever-changing situationsDemonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflictsKnowledge of the dynamics of child abuse and neglectKnowledge of child welfare system and mental health community providersSolid organizational and time management skillsMust respect and maintain confidentialityOther Must submit to a thorough criminal history background checkMust have access to a vehicle, possess a valid driver's license and proof of insuranceMust be flexible with occasional evening and weekend availabilityPosition involves some travel, primarily within the statePosition may involve providing some community and/or home-based mental health servicesThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by individuals assigned to this job.
