Part-time Shift : Days Location:
2525 S DOWNING ST, Denver, 80210 The role youll contribute: Cytotechnologist performs anatomical pathology procedures as certified. Requires the exercise of independent judgement under minimum supervision. Work customarily involves procedures, cytopreparation and slide screening, which require a high degree of theoretical and practical knowledge, and expertise in certified area. The value youll bring to the team: Performs microscopic examination of both non-gynecologic and gynecologic specimens for evidence of precancerous lesions, cancer, inflammatory processes, organisms and other pathological conditions Enters diagnosis into the LIS system Tracks daily slide screening and other cytology QA/QC Processes gynecologic, non-gynecologic & fine needle aspiration (FNA) specimens The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed: 1+ years' experience Bachelor's degree or higher in Biological Sciences Successful completion of a 12-month Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Cytotechnology program American Society for Clinical Pathology (certificate is required)
