A well-regarded healthcare facility in North Carolina is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to support surgical and clinical operations. This is a full-time locum assignment with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7am to 5pm
- Setting: Inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth
- Call: Beeper call, approx. 5 overnights per month (7a-7a)
Responsibilities:
- First-assisting in Da Vinci robotic surgeries
- Rounding and supporting clinic functions
- Participating in pre- and post-operative care
- Taking first-call for overnight beeper coverage
- Coordinating care with surgeons and support teams
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in urology or surgical specialties
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) program
- NC licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Proficiency with Surgical Assistance
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to manage a flexible and fast-paced schedule
