Anticipated Salary Range: $119,574 - $160,000. Salary offers consider role location, experience, and qualifications. Job Description
We seek a motivated Senior DevOps Engineer with strong Linux administration, Big Data, configuration management, automation, scripting, and AWS skills. Responsibilities include infrastructure implementation, deployment automation, and ensuring service reliability and scalability. Work is in a hybrid environment (2-3 days/week) in Augusta, GA. Essential Job Responsibilities Support cloud infrastructure deployment in AWS Support on-premise and portable infrastructure (Edge) Automate deployment processes, ensure reliability and scalability Manage Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure Collaborate with development teams for application integration Monitor and troubleshoot systems Improve processes for high availability and performance Stay current with industry trends Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Current Secret U.S. Government Security clearance; U.S. citizenship required 9+ years in DevOps/Software Development with a Bachelor's, or 7 years with a Master's, or 13 years with a High School diploma Strong Linux knowledge Proficiency with configuration tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) Experience with deployment, scaling, management Programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go Familiarity with Git and development tools Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Understanding of AGILE methodologies DoD 8140 / 8570 certifications (e.g., Security+) Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Augusta, GA
Preferred Requirements
Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.) Experience with EKS, CI/CD, Terraform On-call work may be required
