Your Role on the Team

Position Summary

The Principle Radiologic Technologist performs a full range of general and diagnostic radiologic procedures, including but not limited to DEXA scanning, and the advanced level diagnostic procedures including but not limited to: Mammography screening/diagnostic and procedures of the breast, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, etc. Completes MQSA reporting as requested. Acts as a technical resource for the department. Participates in the training of less senior Radiologic Technologists, and students. Able to rotate to other UCI Imaging Clinics.

Required Qualifications

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Must meet MQSA Technologist Requirements Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Excellent planning, organization and time management skills CRT in both Radiologic and Mammography Ability to travel to clinics, and other campus offices Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload ARRT in both Radiologic and Mammography

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience Knowledge of university and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms DEXA Experience Advanced certifications and licensures in other imaging modalities
