We’re hiring an Assistant Project Manager (APM)
to join our new, growing team for our brand new New York City office. You will work at our office or project site at least once a week.

What You’ll Do
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll contribute to the development and execution of complex, high-impact initiatives. From campus planning and stakeholder engagement to budgeting, procurement, design, and construction oversight—you’ll wear many hats while learning from experienced project leaders. Specifically, you’ll:
Support the launch, development, and management of multiple client initiatives Assist in developing project goals, schedules, budgets, and evaluation frameworks Coordinate solicitations for architects, engineers, and other professional services Help manage the design process, review key milestones, and track performance Provide support in analyzing construction strategies, phasing plans, and logistics Prepare tailored deliverables—including reports, presentations, and analysis—for diverse stakeholders Act as a trusted team member, delivering insights and recommendations with accuracy and care Participate in learning opportunities and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, planning, or a related field Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project management, architecture, design, construction, or owner’s representation Experience working with or within higher education institutions is preferred. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or RS Means is a plus Willingness to travel (up to 30%) A learning mindset and deep commitment to inclusive, client-centered work

This role's target base annual salary range is currently $75,000-90,000. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education, experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate, and pay relative to other team members.
