Locums - Louisville, Kentucky, Freestanding ER/Urgent Care Job Position
  • Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician
  • Open to ER or Family Medicine trained physicians with recent ER experience
Schedule & Facility
  • ASAP start; ongoing need
  • Freestanding ER/Urgent Care Facility
  • ER open 24/7 , Urgent Care open 7a-9p
  • Single physician coverage (12-hour shifts: 7a-7p / 7p-7a)
  • APC support 12 hrs/day to start
Facility Stats
  • 12 beds total (shared between ER and UC)
  • No trauma designation
  • Estimated annual volume: 22,000 total
    • ER: 6,000
    • UC: 16,000
  • Admissions: 2.8%Transfers: 0.9%
Systems & Certifications
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Certifications:
    • ABEM BC or BE (within 5 years post-residency)
    • BE requires ACLS & BLS (not needed for ABEM BC)
    • IM or FM BC accepted if 5+ years of true ER experience
Need
  • 2 full-time equivalent (FTE) physicians
