Job Description & Requirements Interventional Cardiology Physician StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $2764.50 - $2992.50 ? This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity: Schedule: 24 hour weekend call, November 2025 March 2026 Practice Setting: Inpatient Type of cases and required procedures: Ischemic heart disease (percutaneous coronary intervention (angioplasty), stent placement, coronary thrombectomy. They perform interventional procedures such as balloon angioplasty and are skilled in the use of various cutting and laser devices to remove plaque build-up from arteries. Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic Certifications required: Board certified preferred but will consider board eligible, required Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Licensure required: Must have an active Kentucky license or Interstate Medical License Compact (IMLCC) Job Benefits AMN Healthcare typically arranges medical or dental malpractice insurance for the contractor providers we match to client opportunities.
