Mechanical Technician: Temp to Perm, Full time Shift: Swing 3:15pm - 11:45pm PST Status: Non - exempt, hourly Start date: ASAP Requirements: Ideal candidates will have some hands-on experience, though less experienced technicians will also be considered. Experience with PCB/SMT/Electronic Assembly is required.Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine inspections, basic installations, and minor repairs on mechanical systems and equipment. Preventive Maintenance: Execute general building maintenance tasks, which may include light carpentry, painting, and other upkeep activities. Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency. Collaboration: Work closely with team members to complete projects by their deadlines, ensuring a cohesive and efficient work environment. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.Preferred Qualifications Educational Background: High school diploma or GED is often preferred; however, candidates with relevant experience may also be considered. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment for mechanical repairs. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform medium physical work, including standing, bending, and lifting as necessary.
