As the Triage Medical Assistant ,you are a part of a collaborative team that includes 12 providers and 30+ Medical Assistants. You ensure that all patients incoming electronic messages, clinical phone messages and prior authorization requests receive high quality, efficient, and comprehensive responses. You demonstrate consistent adherence to the practice's standards and procedures. You are an integral part of helping to communicate with and educate patients.
This is an on-site position at our 'Dermatology + Aesthetics' at Bucktown (1765 N Elston Ave). Compensation range is competitive and depends on experience.
Preferred experience: EMR Ema Modemed, scribing, dermatology clinical experience.
You have a passion for working in the healthcare environment. You are a team player, proactive, able to multi-task, organized, a go-getter, fast learner, empathetic, take initiative, detailed oriented, positive, personable, and professional in all your interactions. Along with basic typing, computer, English, and mathematical skills, you have an appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations; ensure compliance with all HIPPPA regulations; and, able to communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors.
Our Bucktown Practice - Dermatology + Aesthetic s - is a modern and fast-paced practice well-known for its extensive offerings of skincare treatments, high standard of services, excellent quality of patient care, and diverse team of exceptional individuals. It is located in the newly retrofitted Elston Corridor in the Bucktown neighborhood, at 1765 N. Elston Avenue. We are close to public transportation (Blue and Brown Lines) and near the busy Lincoln Park and Wicker Park Neighborhoods.
