Full Time Senior Systems Engineer

Opportunity: Direct-Hire, very stable company
Work Status: Must be US Citizen / Green Card Holder
Location: Independence, OH - Onsite 5 days to start, Hybrid 3 days onsite after. Hours 8a-5p.
Compensation: Up to $110k, based on experience. Better than most Benefit package.
Interview Process: 2 steps, 1st onsite with Management, 2nd interview is virtual technical screening.
Job Description:
In this important role, you will be responsible for p roviding advanced support for client environments primarily leveraging Microsoft technologies, including on-premises servers, Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 platforms. You will lead and assist in IT project implementations, migrations, and infrastructure improvements, including: Hyper-V and VMware virtualization platforms, SAN storage solutions, Cisco Meraki networking, HPE Aruba switching, and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls. You will serve as a final escalation point for technical issues beyond Level 1, 2, and 3 technician capabilities. A sampling of the requirements for this role are as follows:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of systems engineering or advanced IT support experience within an MSP or MSSP environment.
- Proven experience with Microsoft cloud and on-prem technologies.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed. Occasional overnight travel for company events and client implementations (Mileage reimbursement provided)
