Summary
We're seeking a driven Account Executive to join Terrasmart's sales team, focusing on growing our eBOS product line business. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with strong sales skills to build relationships with EPCs, developers, and distributors, and close deals that deliver Terrasmart's high-quality electrical solutions.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage relationships with customers, including EPCs, developers, and distributors, to drive sales of Terrasmart's eBOS product portfolio.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue leads and strategic partnerships to expand market share.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that clearly communicate product benefits and technical advantages.
- Collaborate with internal teams-engineering, operations, and product management-to ensure customer requirements are understood and met.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and reports to sales leadership.
- Support customers through the sales cycle, including quoting, contract negotiation, and post-sale support.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to position Terrasmart as the preferred eBOS provider.
- Represent Terrasmart at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed.
- 3+ years of sales experience in the solar industry or related electrical/energy sectors.
- Solid understanding of eBOS components (e.g., DC cabling, combiner boxes, disconnects, grounding).
- Proven ability to develop and close complex sales deals.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel (~25%) for customer meetings and industry events.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Experience working with utility-scale or commercial solar projects.
- Familiarity with NEC, UL standards, and solar industry certifications.
- Previous experience with product demonstrations and technical sales presentations.
