Feast & Fettle is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to join our team.
This is a hybrid role based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
What you'll do:
This is the first dedicated AI role at Feast & Fettle. You will report directly to the CEO and work across Engineering and business teams to define and deploy AI-powered systems that directly support our operations, customer experience, and growth.
Your mandate is to identify and build high-leverage opportunities where AI meaningfully reduces friction, automates workflows, and drives better outcomes for both Members and internal stakeholders. That means developing tools that integrate tightly into our day-to-day: from smart kitchen prep systems and delivery planning logic to intelligent customer support and personalized ordering flows.
You won't be building in a vacuum. We're looking for someone eager to immerse themselves in the operational heartbeat of the company-someone who's willing to roll up their sleeves, learn from the inside out, and turn that knowledge into tools that make everything run smoother
You'll prototype quickly, connect internal data sources to external models and APIs, and build intelligent interfaces using tools like Pipedream, LangChain, and Retool. Expect to stand up agents that triage requests, generate insights, and take action across our systems in real time. You'll help move Feast & Fettle toward a future where AI doesn't sit in a silo but shows up in the workflows our team uses every day.
You'll own projects end-to-end. From scoping use cases, building initial prototypes, running internal pilots, and working with Engineering to produce the right tools. This is a hands-on, highly visible role for someone who prefers launching functional systems over chasing cutting-edge theory and who sees AI as a way to solve real, practical problems at scale.

What we're looking for:
- 3-5 years of experience building with code in any environment - formal titles don't matter, but you should be able to ship working tools
- Demonstrated ability to deploy AI-powered solutions in real-world settings, especially for workflow automation or intelligent interfaces
- Strong working knowledge of AI concepts including LLMs, NLP, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Familiarity with the modern AI stack - OpenAI, Claude, LangChain, Pinecone, Pipedream, CrewAI, or similar
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, scoping problems, and iterating fast based on feedback
- Relentlessly resourceful, low-ego, and easy to work with - able to build trust and collaborate across a diverse team, from culinary leads to engineers to CX reps
- A self-directed builder who thrives with high ownership, minimal direction, and a bias toward action
