The Radiology Technologist prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following guidelines set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Responsibilities:
- Performs Diagnostic procedures, including routine radiographic studies and fluoroscopy studies.
- Provides radiation safety for operator and patient.
- Obtains diagnostic radiographs, positioning anatomical parts for optimal radiographs and observing equipment safety.
- Prepares patients for examination, ensuring proper attire and explaining procedures clearly.
- Performs miscellaneous related duties, including processing images and performing QC tests on X-ray units.
Requirements:
- ARRT registration with the American Association of Radiologic Technologists.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program.
Work Schedule:
This position is full-time, located at our urgent care location. The hours for this position are 9:00am-9:00pm with a every other weekend rotation.
