Excelsior, a Ryerson family of companies, has an opportunity for a Fabrication Sales Manager position based out of our office in Fresno, California. In this role, you will be directly responsible for acquiring and maintaining profitable customer relationships along with leading a field sales team of 2 Outside Sales Representatives. This is a fast-paced and high-energy role requiring previous fabrication sales experience, a track record of delivering profitable growth, and the ability to lead and develop Excelsior's sales team. This position will be part of Excelsior's Management Team and will also have reporting, forecasting, and customer responsibilities.Roles and ResponsibilitiesIncrease Excelsior's customer's book of business through maintenance of current customers and acquisition of new customers to increase quote and order volume profitablyLead Excelsior's sales team with regular direction, metrics, and disciplined regular follow upDevelop sales skills to increase the effectiveness of Excelsior's sales teamManage implementation of critical systems and tools for customer management (CRM) and lead developmentManage pricing to ensure that Excelsior is set up to win orders profitablyReport key sales metrics for quote and order volume, customer call frequency, and other key KPIs to help increase salesWork closely with Excelsior's Inside Sales Manager to improve information sharing and coordinate activities between the Outside and Inside Sales teamsWork closely with Operations to ensure that customer orders are set up for success to ensure quality products are produced the first timeSupport sales in other Excelsior divisions: Machine, Solar, MillwrightAll other duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree required3 Years of successful experience in a Metal Fabrication Sales environment3 Years experience with direct customer responsibility; Key account/large volume customer responsibility preferredPrevious experience managing sales teams, systems, and software toolsPrevious experience selling additional capabilities is preferred (welding, machining, etc.)Working knowledge of geometry, strong math skills, and a technical aptitudeAbility to travel up to 60% of the timeBilingual encouraged to applySalary $111,241.02 - $166,861.52 annually.
